Hi, Was just trying the logic problems on this page and came across this one. I have the solution but I don't understand why!
Four people are traveling to different places on different types of transport.
Their names are: Rachel, John, Mr.Jones and Cindy.
They either went on train, car, plane or ship.
* Mr.Jones hates flying
* Cindy has to rent her vehicle
* John gets seasick
Solution:
Cindy: car,
Mr.Jones: train,
John: plane, and
Rachel: ship.
I worked out that Cindy's in the car but why must Mr Jones be the train, why not the ship, leaving john on the train and Rachel the plane? That still pleases everyone doesn't it?
