No sarcasm at all. Just pure amazement.

Both. You see I come from a time when things were simpler, more straight forward, easier to understand.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

Understandable.

Well for one thing, he is in a metal band. So his clothing is self-explanatory.

Also, he cross-dresses. He's really cute in a corset.

You see there is a contradiction in that statemement.

I couldn't find the exact one I was looking for but that is close enough. It is adorable.

I'd say the image speaks for itself.

He has long flowing hair like a girl. He has a long thin neck like a girl, He has big eyes like a girl. He is surrounded by pink, a feminine color.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

1. Large eyes are common in anime regardless of gender.

2. He is only 12 years old, which could also explain the large eyes

4. I have met guys that have larger eyes then me

5. his hair is red, its just this picture it looks pink

6. since when does the length of a person's hair prove anything?

Re: How old are you bobbym?

What are we trying to prove. I am just saying based on visual cues that is a girl. You have to be told it is a boy.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

I am proving that he is a boy. I have no idea what you are trying to prove. Ans yes, the visual screams girl, but that is the point. That is his attraction.

The original topic was what the devil looked like. And I believe they should look like Alex. That is all.

Yes, but that is the point. He looks like a girl, he smells like a girl, he walks like a girl, He sounds like a girl, he just might be a girl.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

He walks like a boy. He has obviously not gone though "the change" yet so we can't use his voice as a means to judge anything because young boys can have high voices. And neither of us can testify to his smell.

He was born a boy and he has all the right parts, therefore he is a boy.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

You are assuming he has parts. Like you are believing the caption that says he is a boy. 10000 years from now when they find just that picture they will label that a girl.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

No I am assuming he is a boy from the fact his CREATOR says he is a boy. Nobody would know better then the one who created him.

He is meant to look like a girl. That is the point. That is his appeal. A girl looking like that does not have the same affect as a boy looking like that.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

Interesting hypothesis, why does that give him appeal?
If a person likes girls they would naturally like to look at girls that look like girls or men that look like men.
The concept of gender bending is confusing, the term bending hints at that.
Why they want this confusion, well we cannot go into that right now.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

Okay, it may be difficult to understand since he obviously doesn't appeal to you. He definitely does to me, but not in a romantic way or anything because he is obviously very young. But, I'm not gonna lie, this sort of "pretty" loli boy stuff appeals to me in general.

I can think of a few reasons:

A- its different. Think about it; if a boy in America looked that cute and dressed that way and went to you're stereotypical public school, what would happen? He'd probably get the tar kicked out of him! Its something unique and interesting that you'd probably never see in real life.

B- Do you remember the picture of Haninozuka I posted? In case you don't, he was the little blonde boy I told you was in 11th grade. But he looks like he is about 9 years old. But thats his appeal. He comes off as cute, therefore he has many fans. The same can be said for Alex.

C- Feminine guys, young like Alex or not, have an appeal. Maybe cross-dressing doesn't do it for everyone, but I've noticed that in a lot of anime the "pretty" boys usually attract a lot of fans.

Another way to look at it is this: guys probably don't see the appeal in this the same way I can't understand the big brother-love appeal. I've seen at least two different anime in the past month or so where the younger sister was in completely in love with her older brother,   even in a um... how do I put this? In a ... lustful way, and  some guys seem to like that. Which, is completely beyond me because I don't see anything wonderful about romantic relationships between blood-related siblings.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

Hi misheeru;

Yes, I understand, there is always some people who like something.

I don't see anything wonderful about romantic relationships between blood-related siblings.

In western cultures it is a no no. In some other cultures and in the past it is acceptable. There is nothing stranger than human mating habits. That is not my point.

If you can understand that not everything is everyone's cup of tea and accept that, you are way ahead of the curve. I am not a big fan of cross dressing, I think if you are a guy you should look like one. If you are a girl you should look and act like one. Of course, there are zillions of people who do not agree. Tolerance means accepting other people. In society I have no problems with how anybody else dresses, I just would not choose it for me.

Re: How old are you bobbym?

Yeah, the sibling thing isn't really my idea of a ... good reltaionship, but I'm not like those other internet trolls that post angry comments about it like "Zomg! Thats @#$%# sick!! Ewwww!!" and starting some rampant Flame War.
Lol!

And as far as cross-derssing, it only appeals to me in certain cases. For example: I think he is okay, but I don't go all fangirl whenever I see pics of Frankenfurter from Rocky Horror.

Either way... the original point was: You think the devil should look like Al Pacino and I think he should look like an adorable loli boy in drag. XD
