Re: Justice
Why? I believe in a supreme being, an overriding intelligence, a creator of all things. Sounds like the same God to me. I just do not hold on to the viewpoint that he never changes his mind.
Hmmm, you really should remove personal comments from your arguments. You know nothing about me. Last edited by bobbym (2013-03-04 07:19:16) In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #27 2013-03-04 10:17:28
Re: JusticeHi bobbym The limit operator is just an excuse for doing something you know you can't. “It's the subject that nobody knows anything about that we can all talk about!” ― Richard Feynman “A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept.” ― Carlos Ruiz Zafón #28 2013-03-04 10:24:14
Re: JusticeNo, I have not. I never watch TV so... In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: JusticeWhere do you watch movies, then? Re: JusticeI watch them from DVD. I hate the commercials on TV. They are nothing but beer and car ads. They are all the same. Screeching music, blinking lights and about 60 or 70 people stuffed into a small bar gyrating like mad. After 10 seconds of that I am gyrating like mad whilst kicking the TV. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means. 90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics. #31 2013-03-04 10:33:25
Re: JusticeHaha, well yes, ads are annoying. But have you ever considered watching stuff on the internet? There are also ads, but much less sound and they do not pop up while you actually watch the TV show/movie. Re: JusticeI watch lots of stuff on youtube and fight to download it. In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them. Re: JusticeHm, I wanted to ask you about that. How do you find that stuff? Re: JusticeI know that google is my friend, by certain things I just cannot make it do. Please, tell me how you find pdf versions of books and how you find youtube videos on mathematical topics.
