It is impossible because it isn't that high.

Here lies the reader who will never open this book. He is forever dead.

How'd you know?

hi

Whoops, lots has happened while I was doing some tile grouting.

(i)

bobbym wrote:

Hmmm, they have miniature hippopotami do they not?

Look how small this one is,

Is that actual size on the screen? Else I need a scale.

(ii) What is EQ anyway ? I haven't found the link. Is it at the end of the test? Because that means I'll have to do it again. Will I get the same answer? Depends if they're using a random number generator.

(iii) IQ: Most tests are very limited. They only measure certain skills and intelligence involves more than that. And they are always against the clock ... some of the world's most intelligent people take a long time to show their ability eg1. Stephen Hawking eg2. Andrew Wiles took 7 years to prove Fermat's last theorem.

(iv) And what is 'mental age' anyway? And as to why that set of questions will determine it ... well really!

EQ is empathy quotient.

It could be a little larger than that. After all, how big could one of those things get?

Empathy quotient?

OK, thanks.

I've tried the test again. I'm sure the questions are the same and I think I answered them the same. But my mental age seems to be growing. Now the test says 30 and if I go to the details screen it says 31. Wonder what that means.

I saw the EQ and IQ links just as I cleared the page so I've had to do the test for a third time. 'They' obviously think I'm in need of help because this time the details screen says

Ask a Psychiatrist Online

psychiatrists.justanswer.co.uk

A Psychiatrist Will Assist You Now!

So I asked "Do you think I need help then?"

They want £26 for the answer.

Anyone at MIF want to tell me for less?

I scored an ugly 60, giving me the same rating as Hitler. Not Adolf, the one that was meaner.

That is an ad. The real content of the details screen is at its bottom

Gosh. You mean that sometimes what appears on my screen is just an advert? What a clever idea. It's a wonderful thing, this internet.

bobbym: I'm a bit worried about your high EQ. especially in view of this:

Hippos can run at speeds of over 20 miles an hour and they have enormous jaws which host up to 20 inch canines.

My problem: I can't count my teeth

More detail needed.

Is this because you haven't learnt to count?

Or you have no teeth?

Or the light is off and you cannot see them?

Or ....

Bob

It is because I do not know where a tooth ends and I should increment the counter

This shows you how to count them:

But it doesn't explain how you get them out of your mouth like that.

Yes, I can. But then again, maybe I don't have so many to count as you.

Is it okay to say that I have 2 teeth: One up and One down because they do seem to be continious rather than discrete

You have obviously never lost a tooth, They are not one big tooth. 16 on top and 16 down below. That should make you happy.

Bob, I am taking the Hippo test.

Result: I have shallow knowledge about hippos.
