Very nice, but remember that the second line has to have 7 syllables.

Re: Haikus

Look. Don’t be a fool!
Please re-read the haiku rule
(As you’d do at school):

Devantè wrote:

OK, lightning, before you start posting randomness and spam in this thread, let me explain to you what a haiku is when I have explained it several times and you do not seem to listen at all;

The first line must have 5 syllables, no more, no less.
The second line must have 7 syllables, no more, no less.
The third line must have 5 syllables, no more, no less.

It is simple. Yet you seem not to listen to my instructions and explanations.

Re: Haikus

Pine trees smell pretty
I picked up a fallen branch
I smelled the pine pitch

We're still getting snow
But it is sloppy wet snow
The plow doesn't come

I read the trail map
Soon I will hike and still bike
I'm almost healthy

Zach says it's a farce
Global warming won't happen
I hope he is right

But if it's too late
And everything goes a rye
It was just a dream

Haikus are always good.
They do not have to make sense.
