You mean completely preferring girls?

I mean completely off her rocker. An old expression.

I don't know about that, she seems to be fine in every other department except for her preferences. She says that she is forced to go to the therapy sessions despite being over her problems a long time ago, so she just talks a load of rubbish to them.

That is not wise, they might have her taken away.

I mean, she can't get out of the therapy so she just makes up random stories and gets a kick out of it when they believe her.

They would say that proves she is not normal.

Hmm. Well, whatever she is, she makes lovely conversation and we do seem to click with each other and she admits this too, the only thing stopping us is the fact that she prefers girls, supposedly.

That is not a small thing exactly. It can really put a stop to any relationship, especially since she is not using her therapy to change anything.

Well, she claims she is perfectly happy now, although I am not in those therapy sessions so I can't tell if she might be hiding something.

Okay, she has eating disorders, suffers from bouts of depression, has a bf thousands of miles away, wants you only as a friend and she is happy?

I would rather be miserable.

She says she is over that stuff now, but who knows.

Her prefernces are mixed up and she has a possible bf, who may or may not be far away.

She is definitely high risk, it is up to you whether you think the risk is worth it.

I only have 5 months or so until we both go to uni/holiday and we'll probably never see each other again... I guess I may as well take the risk. If she likes girls though I don't know what role I play in this. Do friends of the opposite gender really e-mail each other 30-40 times a day and play adult truth or dare games?

Not in my universe but I am the only one that lives there. Her preference could suggest a dislike of your gender and therefore she is being cruel. Or it could be something else.

I am not sure. She did say that she doesn't talk to that many guys, and also that she finds the fact that I'm skinny attractive. (In her mind, that's a feminine trait I'm guessing.)

In my way of thinking it is best to talk plainly to her about her predilections, that way there are no surprises later. You should find out what kind of amorous activities she is into.

We've talked about that in our truth or dare games. I might ask her for more specifics though.

Okay, I would suggest finding out about that and whether or not you will be comfortable with her ways.

She will be home from school in 7 hours or so. I have to go to school now too, I should be back at about 2 PM, 5 hours from now.

Have a good day at school and concentrate on that.

Thank you. It was okay...

No reply from adriana yet, she has not come home yet.

Did you do anything interesting in school today?

Not really, although I was amazed at the amount of mathematical errors my teachers were making. In physics we were finding error ranges the wrong way, and in chemistry we were trying to find half-lives and she made the approximation 1.5625 ≈ 2, when an exact solution could have been found easily. All you needed to do was solve dx/dt = -kx, the standard exponential decay, but sadly, in chemistry and physics they do not teach differential equations (or any kind of calculus at all).

adriana is home, she is happy to hear from me.

Nice to see that physics teachers are almost as bad as physicists.

I'm meeting adriana at her house again on Sunday. We're going to do some maths, then go upstairs to watch some films on her bed. I'm hoping something happens but I'm pretty sure nothing will.
