hello people...i am working on some make-up worksheets cuz i am on vacation, and its a little tricky since i have no idea what i am doing and i cant exactly call anyone for help..:)
anywayz, i am looking at some quadratic equations and i am determining the difference between them and that's all. But it seems too easy to just write down the difference between the parabola! Right? And I still have no idea what to do with the minimum/max. point..like, how to get it? please help me!
h=16t^2+12t+0.2..........here is an equation...i have made a table and graphed it, but beyond that i am stuck ......help anyone?
i feel frustrated!

hi...i have these equations that i am filling in for and finding out the replacements..now, i know how to do it, but i get confused with the opposites, like this
x and y are opposites, like x=5 y= -5......or y=5 and x=-5
sooo, i have:
3(2y)-3y+4=2y+5 wat would y equal?
altho, that doesnt have a x, so here's another one
3x+15=2y

ok umm.........i have another equation thats easy but im stumped on putting it into factored form...i think im doing it wrong..

OK, IM LEARNING ABOUT OOPPS... ok anywayz im learning aabout squared, rectangular and triabgular numbers, and on one of my worksheets it says that i have to detren=mine if the certain number is triangular, rectangular, or squared. I have the equations for them, i think:
Squared=x^2
Rectangular=x(x-1)
triangular=x(x-1)/2
now, i have to determine weather 110 is a squared, rectangular, or triangular number....Will someone please tell me how i do this?????????

I'm not sure if this is what your talking about, but in the park next to my house there are the little goal things for disc golf, and I attempted it once.....wow. I SUCKED!
I ended up hitting a tree.
Well, like I said, I think it was disc golf. It's actually kinda fun. Hitting trees is also fun!!!:P

ok, i have a question.....my hw is giving me an equation and it says to find the line of symmetry and the x and y intercept and min and max point. Plus, lets just say that I was distracted in class today,:/ so i dont know how to do it. My problem is y= (x-3)(x=3)
What do I do????

i have longish dark, DARK brown hair. Some people think its black, but they're wrong! I hate hair gel-it makes my hair all gloopy and nasty to the touch!

i am trying to figure out the difference between tables,graphs, and equations of quadratic functions vs. linear and exponentiial functions. I know what the difference is, but I'm not sure how to put it into words. any help?
