That's why I said that. There are 10 most dangerous bodies for shipping, and the Bermuda Triangle isn't one of them. Doesn't this imply that those 10 are all more dangerous than the Bermuda Triangle?

Umm, that wasn't hard to figure out. Anyone could do that. Maybe people give other people too much praise these days...

It's not hard for us adult to figure that out. 8 years olds, however, most likely answer 4.

Wait, there are at least 10 more dangerous body than that?

He should remember it like the rest of us; It's hard doing that without being a Super Savant!

Isn't Savant a mental illness, though? I used to think that I have a savant syndrome since my friends think I'm crazy and good at math. However, after spending some years on some math forums, I realized that compared to most others, my math skill is low and I think I don't deserve the title "savant", probably just crazy.

Strangely, Islamic religion does allow drawing of trees.

Well, I've only heard the name Baltimore from One Piece manga, which isn't set in the real world anyway. It is the land which is used as a headquarter by the Revolutionary Army.

No, no... Not phi and number five... I mean phi and the five numbers mentioned before (0, 1, e, pi, and i)...

String theory, which is pretty much built on an entirely mathematical framework, predicts the existence of gravitons.  We have never seen gravitons, nor do we have any other reason to believe they exist.  Not only does string theory tell us that they must exist, but even how we can find them.

Problem is, we don't have the engineering ability just yet to see if they are actually there.  A current project is supposed to be completed in 2007 to be able to detect them, I believe in France.

If gravitons exist and behave like we expect them to, I'd say that's a pretty good test validating string theory.

So, it's been 12 years after 2007, did we prove that gravitons exist?

Are vultures dangerous to humans? As in, do they attack humans unprovoked?

I mean, it is a fairly interesting result, how you can combine 3 seemingly unrelated numbers, 2 of which are transcendental and one of which is imaginary, together and get such a nice result. But I also think it's possible that there's a better one out there.

Three?  That equation contains the five most important numbers in math.  0 and 1 are two of the most important numbers, and as it turns out, pretty much as soon as you define 0 and 1, you define all of the real numbers.

I remember stumbling on a dice site (yes, a site about dice) where someone made a math dice, consisting those five numbers and phi.

Because they’re never right.

9. What’s the best way to woo a math teacher?
Use acute angle.

But the acute angle is also depressed because it's never right either...

In my opinion the intuition and the knowledge are the most important.
If you don't have intuition, it will be hard to develop alone.
If you don't have knowledges, you'll waste your time end intuition on subjects, already discovered, instead of learning them.

This. I remembered when I was still at school age, I noticed that if two numbers whose difference is 2 is multiplied by each other, the result would be the square of the middle number minus 1. Years later when I took math mayor in college, I tried to write that in algebraic form and found out that it's just

, an equation already well-known at the time.

One day a mathematician decides that he is sick of math. So, he walks down to the fire department and announces that he wants to become a fireman.
The fire chief says, "Well, you look like a good guy. I'd be glad to hire you, but first I have to give you a little test."

The firechief takes the mathematcian to the alley behind the fire department which contains a dumpster, a spigot, and a hose. The chief then says, "OK, you're walking in the alley and you see the dumpster here is on fire. What do you do?"

The mathematician replies, "Well, I hook up the hose to the spigot, turn the water on, and put out the fire."

The chief says, "That's great... perfect. Now I have to ask you just one more question. What do you do if you're walking down the alley and you see the dumpster is not on fire?"

The mathematician puzzles over the question for awhile and he finally says, "I light the dumpster on fire."

The chief yells, "What? That's horrible! Why would you light the dumpster on fire?"

The mathematician replies, "Well, that way I reduce the problem to one I've already solved."

Wow. It's rare to see a joke which portraits blondes in a positive light.
