hi gAr

your solution is correct but i made a mistake it should be 1/2 instead of 2 in the outermost exponent.sorry once again

hi pm

neither of your answers are true it should be 400.

the same is shown in the link that gAr posted.

actually i got it incorrectly it goes up to x^6024.sorry.

hi gAr

not even coefficients but the sum of coefficients of terms with an even exponent.

If we were asked to do the same with:

the answer would be 5+1=6.

hi bobbym and gAr

sorry for posting here but i really don't like opening new topics, and all others are occupied by non-solved questions so i don't want to interrupt.

i know an interesting problem:
we have a polynomial:

find the sum of coefficients with even exponents (x^2010,x^2008,...,x^2,x^0=1).

I didn't see much topics on this subject.

If you know anything interesting about complex or you have a problem with them just post here.

For those who don't know complex numbers are those of the form a+b*i where i is the imaginary unit which is the number for which i^2=-1.

Here are the rules of basic operations with compex numbers:
1)addition:

2)subtraction:

3)multiplication:

4)division:
