ok, our teacher has asked us to write a proof that 0/x is undefined.
usually we just say 0/x is just 0, and that x/0 is undefined. but my teacher has asked me to prove that 0/x is undefined, for example 0/10 = undefined. how do i prove this? please help, im really stuck
Are you sure that your teacher isn't asking about x/0?
Because 0/x definitely not undefined (except when x=0).
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.

0/x=0, x/0 undefined (except in x=0 case). It seems like you meant to say prove undefined when DENOMINATOR=0. You can take 0 and split it up x ways and you just get 0. But you can't take x and split it up 0 ways-undefined.
