Can you help me find the percentage range please?

Hi guys

I have a set of numbers and have calculated the mean and range. The range calculated by subtracting the lowest number from the highest. I am asked to express the range as a percentage? How would I go about doing this? Do I divide the range by the highest number then multiply by 100 or do i use the mean value?

thanks

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
