Hi misheeru;

No, I don't think you can. Not without more information.

Re: How do I figure this?

You'd need more information. It looks like arc AB is bigger than arc BC, but to be sure you'd need annotations.

Re: How do I figure this?

ok thanks guys.

Is there a rule for this.. All of the problems on this page ask me if i can conlclude that they are equal, so is there a specific on how much info i need to conclude that they are equal?

Like this one, since it says the length of both I have the info i need right?

Re: How do I figure this?

Hi misheeru;

(ii) In equal circles (or in same circle), equal chords cut off equal arcs, and conversely; in equal circles (or in same circle), if two arcs are equal then their chords are equal.

arc AB = arc BC

RS is tangent to circle A at X.

I don't really understand this tangent stuff.....

Re: How do I figure this?

Since the circle is inscribed in triangle and the circle touches all of the sides, aren't all the sides tangent to the circle?

Re: How do I figure this?

Yes, I believe you are right, they are all tangent sides to the circle.

Re: How do I figure this?

Also..

What is the measure of an angle formed by two secants intersecting inside the circle equals?

is it ½ the sum of the intercepted arcs?

Re: How do I figure this?

alos the diameter of a cirle is twice the radii right?

So for this the answer is RS if it is asking me wut the diameter of A is?

Also wut is the common tangents in this?

Re: How do I figure this?

I am stuck on this as well.

it is a  true or false question??

The measure of angle CAD is (0.3)(arc GE minus arc CD)
