question: mod[mod(x-3)+5]=0
find its minimum value?

Hi hrmn;

mod[mod(x-3)+5]=0

Mod or modulo is a binary operator. That loosely means it takes two arguments.

We say:

Which means when we divide 5 by 2 we get a remainder of 1.

Or we can say:

Which means when we divide 11 by 3 we are left with a remainder of 2.

What you have said is like 15 +. Fifteen plus what is the natural answer? What is the mod for that equation?
