please help me on this question:
pam and janie invested $6000 and $9000 respectively in a business.
if the profit was $12000, how much should janie get if they divide the profit in the ratio of their investments?
i forgot how to do the workout and everything. please help!!

The ratio of their investments is 2:3, so the profit should be divided in that ratio.
Pam should get 2/(2+3) = 2/5 of $12000, which is $4800, and Janie should get 3/(2+3) = 3/5 of $12000, which is $7200.
Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
