Limits n->infinity questions on factorials

I am trying to solve questions like:

1.


and
2.

How do I solve them?
for the first one, i get upto lim 1/n+2. Then what should I do?

The second one is a little tougher.

When reduced it becomes:

Your last formula should have x  tebd to infinity, because otherwise it is infinity...

Wow! A lot of discussions on hmms.. in this post.
Now, the answer in the book says that the answer for question (1) is 1/2.
Is it right or there is a printing mistake?
