Hi there!
Hello, this is my first post.
I found this place whilst searching for forums for math lovers 
. I read the rules in the intro to registration and figured I'd like it here.
I chose the name ln(x) because e is my favorite number and the logarithm is one of my favorite functions (It resembles a breaching whale, and whales are my favorite animal).
I hope to meet friends here, to teach others mathematics and learn some new mathematics as well.~

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
Probability is the most important concept in modern science, especially as nobody has the slightest notion what it means.
90% of mathematicians do not understand 90% of currently published mathematics.

Welcome to the forum.
You could have called yourself 'e' then, and saved some typing.
The forum is tranferring to a new server and there's a spot of teething trouble with mathemathical formatting using Latex.
So I cannot show you my favorite equation.

Right-click on the image, click "copy image URL" and paste it between img tags.

No copy image url option.
copy doesn't copy anything.
I've pasted the properties address here but it doesn't show the image.
EDIT: It works with no spaces.
