Hi gAr

Thanks for the link! I will have to look at this when I have time.

Here lies the reader who will never open this book. He is forever dead.

You're welcome.

Hi bobbym,

Missed you too. I'm fine, how're you?

Hi bobbym,

It's almost finished.

Not the best grades, but good enough to satisfy me!

Me too! Then you will soon be back solving some problems?

I have been solving problems, but not so actively here.

I have been trying for a while the probability problem by ElainaVW, that circle.. Not getting anywhere though!

That is a tough one.

But how did you come up with exact value?

I have the solution somewhere.

I also have the solution to the second part about the gaps. If I was smart enough to write it down somewhere.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

You mean you had an analytical solution which you can't recollect now?

You have it in a program?

I had a formula for the probability and the expected number of gaps. I am looking for them now.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

Okay, post it there if you find it, I'll keep trying. Multiple integrals is the only way I can think of now.

Hi;

Eureka! I am getting smarter the older I get. In 100 years or so I will be brilliant. I wrote it all down!

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

That's great!

You wrote it in your notes?

Yep! The worst feeling in the world is when later on I discover that I forgot to write it down in a place where I can find it.

You want me to post over there?

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.

I put the first sum in for the probability, if you want the gap expectation, let me know.

I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
