can you solve this

20 players in 5 groups of 4 playing 4 times but no 2 players playing together in the same group more than once - now the hard part-  no player to play in top or bottom group more than once.

Hi Cass 59;

Problem is a progressive dinner problem and there are a couple solved right here on this forum.


In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
I have the result, but I do not yet know how to get it.
All physicists, and a good many quite respectable mathematicians are contemptuous about proof.
