Find the integrals of the functions with respect to x.

1. x^2 log x
2. (3   5x) cos 7x
3. cos-1x
4. x^2 e^3x

Re: Find the integrals of the functions with respect to x.

hi Maths_Learner

Welcome to the forum.

Are you asking for help doing these.  Perhaps bobbym will move the thread into the 'Help Me' section.

These look like questions after you have been taught 'integration by parts'

The trick is to split the expression into two parts; one which gets simpler when differentiated, and the other gets simpler (or at least no worse) when integrated.

So for number 1. try u = log x and dv/dx =  x^2.  Do you mean ln x here ?

For number 3. is that invcos x ?  Also written arc cos.
