wavelets

Hi all,

I am interested to understand the wavelets transform in 2D and 1D.

Anyone can help me to understand the basic concept.
I read paper on 2D wavelet but really did not understand any one .. did not understand basic mathematical concept.

Please if anyone have knowledge in this area than pls share and help me to understand it . thanks you

Can you describe a particular example or concept where you need help? That might enable someone who knows the math but not the application to help.
