O is the CIRCUMCENTRE of triangle ABC and M is the midpoint of the median through A. Join OM and produce it to N such that OM = MN. Prove that N lies on the altitude through A.

hi Animesh

Welcome to the forum.

D is the midpoint of BC and E is the 'foot' of the altitude from A to BC.

What can you say about AE and OD ?

M lies halfway between A and D, and also halfway between N and O.

What does that tell you about N ?
