alfa+beta+gama puzzle

There is an alternative puzzle:
ALPHA + BETA + GAMMA = DELTA
(British spelling of alpha and correct spelling of gamma). This has the advantage that there are 10 different letters so you have to use all 10 digits 0 to 9. There are 14 different solutions to this puzzle.

Re: alfa+beta+gama puzzle

Hi JohnOfStony,

I only found 13 solutions to your alternative puzzle.

A unique solution exists with the constraint, "The value of the sum's first letter ('D') is a prime number".

Another alternative puzzle, ALPHA - BETA - GAMMA = DELTA, has 4 solutions.
