Hi everyone, just wanted to know if you could help me out with these two problems I have. The first question is... 3 ln y = 2 + 3 ln x
The second is... 3 ln 2 + 0.5 ln 64 = 3 ln 4
Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

what exactly do you need to do with them?
The Beginning Of All Things To End.
The End Of All Things To Come.

Hi, thanks for the response.... In the first one, I am supposed to express as a sum, difference, or multiple of logarithms. If possible, evaluate logarithms of the result.
The second one, I am supposed to use a calculator to verify that 3 ln 2 + 0.5 ln 64 = 3 ln 4

i guess for the first one you might rearrange for a formula in x or y.
The Beginning Of All Things To End.
The End Of All Things To Come.

why is the minus added at the last line?

"In the real world, this would be a problem. But in mathematics, we can just define a place where this problem doesn't exist. So we'll go ahead and do that now..."
