graph line using slope and y-intercept

write equation of line with given slop and y-intercept; then graph each line using slope and y-intercept.   problem slope -2; y-intercept:(0,4)

y=-2x +4 I got this far but don't know what to do next; and how to graph it

Re: graph line using slope and y-intercept

The easiest way would be to work out some co-ordinates that the line will go through, plot those, and join them up to make the line.

Some co-ordinates you could use for your one would be (0,4) , (2,0) , and (5,-6) , just as examples. If you plot those and then join them up with a straight line, then that line will be the one that you want.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
