Help!

Does anyone know a formula I would use to figure out this problem?

The latitude of an azimuth equal to 205 degrees, 44.34 feet is __________ feet.

A. 18.74
B. 40.19
C. 20.68
D. 48.92

Any help is greatly appreciated! smile

Re: Help!

Okay, my guess is that 180 is flat or horizontal, so 205 is 205 minus 180, or 25 degrees
above horizontal.
Now the tangent of 25 degrees times 44.34 feet is C), or 20.67608156 feet high.
The 44.34 feet would then be the horizontal distance along the ground.
Don't know if that is what is being asked, however.
