Laplace transform help

I'm having trouble to use Laplace transform method. The instructor's handout really hard to understand. Could some1 help me solve this?

Use the Laplace transform to solve the given differential equation subject to the indicated initial conditions:
y'+2y=t                        y(0)=-1

thanks a lot

Re: Laplace transform help

Use the derivative property to take the transform - y' becomes sY(s)-y(0), y becomes Y(s), and t becomes 1/s^2.  Solve for Y and take the inverse transform
