trignometry

Please Help Me Out With This Two Sums:

1.  Find The Degree Measure Of The Angle Subtended At The Centre Of A Circle Of Radius 100cm By An Arc Of Length 22cm. (use π= 22/7)

2.  In A Circle Of Diameter 40cm The Length Of A Chord Is 20cm. Find The Length Of Minor Arc Of The Chord.

Thank You

Re: trignometry

#1 The angle in radians is

. To convert to degrees, multiply by 180 and divide by π.

#2 The chord and two radii form an equilateral triangle of sides 20 cm; ∴ the angle in radians subtended by the chord at the centre is

. The arc length is the radius multiplied by the angle in radians.
