Maths question
The mean height of five starting players ina basketball team is 1.82m, during a time out a player who is 1.78m tall is replaced by a player 1.88m tall.What is the mean height of the players after the replacemnt has been made?
(a) 1.78m (b) 1.82m (c) 1.84m (d) 1.88m
can u please telll me how to work that out?

The total height of five players before replacement was 5 × 1.82 = 9.10 m.
After replacement, the total height of the players is 9.10 − 1.78 + 1.88 = 9.20 m.
So the new mean height is
?
