Calculus - differentiation question

Here is a question that i am a little stuck on. Can anyone shed some light on the situation???

Differentiate the following:

         y = (x² + 1) . (x³ - 5)

         y = X² - 1 / X² + 1

         y = (3X² + 1)

all help appreciated.......

Re: Calculus - differentiation question

Some notation:

if f is a function, f(x), then f'(x) is it's derivitive.

then you have some basic rules:

and most importantly for your questions:

The Beginning Of All Things To End.
