dividing time using a calculater

i been trying to work out a problem were i need to fined how long a person works on each a single item
total hours are 84 with 13000 units but every time i try do it the calculater divied it by 100 instead of 60
any one know what you would do to work it out

If you want the answer in MINUTEs, then do this...
84 × 60, now you are in minutes, like 500 minutes or so right.
Now divide those minutes by 13000 units.
Now you get about 3/8's of a minute for each part.
or...    0.38769230769
