Venn Diagrams....Help Please!!!

My math teacher gave us these two problams to solve and I just want to know if I am headed in the right direction.

(A n B)'= A' u B'

(A u B)' = A' n B'

And we have to put them into  venn diagrams. Please help!
Thanks!!!

Re: Venn Diagrams....Help Please!!!

Just draw each side of the equation on a Venn Diagram and show that the Venn Diagrams are the same.

AnB is the area that both circles cover, and so (AnB)' is all of the diagram apart from that area.

A' is all of the diagram except A, and B' is all of the diagram except B.
Together these regions cover all of the diagram except the bit that A and B both cover, ie. AnB.

Therefore, (AnB)' = A' u B'.

The other one is done in much the same way.

Why did the vector cross the road?
It wanted to be normal.
