HELP Finding Derivative of Inverse

Hi I need help fiding derivative of inverse  using this rule : f-¹ = 1/ f'[f^-1(x)]

1. f(x) = √2x, x ≥ 0
Find derivative of inverse using f-¹ = 1/ f'[f^-1(x)]

2. f(x) 2x²-2, x ≥ 0

Find d/dx f^-1 (0) [Note that f(1)=0

Please help me solve BOTH problems using   THIS RULE =====>  f-¹ = 1/ f'[f^-1(x)]

Also, Please explain how you did it.. Thnaks

Re: HELP Finding Derivative of Inverse

Hi makaros;

For 1)

If you meant f(x)=√ (2x) then this is how I do it.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
