mode,problem solving

This is crazy my child is in 3rd grd. n' I can't help her with this...problem goes as follows;

Solve.
The Rooters scored 6 points in their first game and 4 oints in their third game.
The mode for their score is in three games was 4. How many points did the score in the second game?



Please help us solve this and explain how you got the answer.

The mode is the number that occurs most often.
4 is the mode, so the second game's score must be 4.

That way, the scores are 6,4,4, and 4 is most common.
