Does anyone know how to figure these things out? What the answers are?

In voting for 4 candidates, the outcomes are reported:

ADBC -8
DACB -5
BADC -3
BDCA -1
DCAB -2

1) What is the total number of votes?
2) Determine winner using a majority rule?
3) Determine winner using a pluarlity rule?
4) Determine winner using a Borda count?
5) Hare method? who wins?
6) When using the HAre method, which round did i declare a winner?
7) who wins when using the pairwise comparison method
8) Who is the winner by using a tournament method?

Hi Softtail Rider;

Looks like there were 19 votes cast.

4)

Borda count, if there are four candidates in an election then a candidate will receive 4 points each time they are ranked first, 3 for being ranked second, and so on, with a candidate receiving 1 point for being ranked last. Used to determine the MVP ion major league baseball

So D with 16 points wins by Simple Borda Count.

Here is what I found for the hare system, which they claim is actually used in Australia.

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
