Re: maths help! amc

Hi herbert mcdinglewatt;

Go to this page:

http://factorzone.tripod.com/1-50.htm

and this page:

http://www.mathsisfun.com/numbers/factors-all-tool.html

Look at 4 and 9, do you agree that 4 and 9 have 3 factors? If you do then the answer is 14.

If you don't agree then please explain what you mean by factors.

Welcome to the forum!

Re: maths help! amc

Hi herbert;

Calm down please. We are on the same page with what you mean by factors. Okay, here is how to calculate them. Only the prime squares will have 3 factors.

2^2, 3^2, 5^2, 7^2, 11^2, 13^2, 17^2, 19^2, 23^2 , 29^2, 31^2, 37^2, 41^2, 43^2...

In case you need more of them.

Hi herbert;

Loving me is impossible, I am a moderator. We are to be hated, despised, spit at. We are not to be loved.

Re: maths help! amc

Hi herbert - lewis

Yes, everyone loves me, especially the power company.

I solved your point inside the square problem. Now how about those pushups! Since you have stated you are a girl, those 150 pushups will be next to impossible.

Re: maths help! amc

You see, lewis, has the same style as herbert, puctuates the same and makes the same errors as herbert. And uses similar expressions. Asks similar questions. And most importantly are using the same machines or ones close by. Now c'mon Herb isn't it time to level with old bobbym?

150 pushups! Really?!!!!

Re: maths help! amc

uhh  bobby you must be mistaken. we are all communicating in english, the punctuation is supposed to be the same. similar expressions? you mean as in the faces? well, have you ever been on msn? thats what everyone uses so lewis using similar expressions wouldnt be that unusual.
furthermore, i hvae no idea who lewis is and i dont know what youre going on about with the push-ups.
and about 'same machines or ones close by', i dont have internet at home so im at a library. are you happy now?

Re: maths help! amc

Okay, perhaps lewis is using the same machines as you. In that very library. Anyway, it was just a thought. Yes, I am happy.
