evaluating contour integrals

hello,

i am a student who is interested in calculus and quantum mechanics. however, i am struggling with understanding a concept that i am not familiar with:

i can evaluate a simple integral, for example,

but what is

?

i am therefore not able to do calculations with maxwells equations for electromagnetism:

magnetic flux =

i can evaluate the dot product, but i have no clue where to go from there as i am not familiar with contour integrals, and my calculus teacher did not teach this.

thanks
