How much does the reflected ray rotate?

Keeping the incidence ray fixed, if a plane mirror is rotated through an angle "x" about an axis lying in its plane, the reflected ray turns through an angle __________ .
Tell me how you did the calculation also!

Re: How much does the reflected ray rotate?

Hi,

The reflected ray turns through an angle 2x. (angle of incidence = angle of reflection. When mirror is turned through an angle x, angle of incidence becomes x)
