Solving Absolute Value Equations
1/2|4x 8| - 7 = 3
A-x = 7, x = -3
B-x = 7, x = 4
C-x = 0, x = -4
d-x = 13, x = 3
d-x = -7, x = -4
help please i have to show my work i tried soling it allot ended up with x = 1, x = -1 so it was incorrect

He added 7 and then multiplied by 2. Also that question should be, solve for real roots.
In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.
