everything is correct,but here's a little LaTeX tip:

when you want to write multiplication of two fractions it is best if you bring the multiplication sign in LaTeX tags:

what is even better is to use the LaTeX command for the dot that represents the multiplication sign,and the command is \cdot :

yeah i would agree on that because they simplified the y correctly but then didn't simplify the 6 and 4 in the last step
