i need to work out x from this

5(x-7)=-34

Hi alexandraneedshelp;

Easiest way seems to be to expand it out on the left.

Now add 35 to both sides.

Now divide both sides by 5 to get the x by itself.

It is simple. School is hard because it is about a lot of other things besides math like growing up. See the m in bobbym, it stands for Mediocrity, if I can get it anyboby can.
