Now this question makes sense.  I think for the second one you need to check the wording.  Did you write it down correctly?

ALSO  I've changed my answer to Q1 now I have the correct wording for that.  The 30 does make a difference!

f(x,y) is a probability density function.  The total value of the function over this space should be one.  Let's start by checking that it is.
