There is a theorem that says this:

If c_n are the coefficients of f(x) and d_n are the coefficients of the principal part of f(x) when expanded around the smallest singularity then c_n - d_n is very small as n approaches infinity.

It means the the coefficients of the principle part

when you expand it at 0 will approximate the coefficients of

when expanded at 0. Remember we are looking for the coefficient
of z^10000 for f(z).

The significance of this is not really apparent right now but when we finish it will be.

he's very cute.but i don't think that being strong matters as much as being smart,so i think he will grow up to be as smart as his Grandpa or even smarter!

Thanks for your comments.  My daughter is very amused that a group of mathematicians is so interested in her baby.  But it shouldn't surprise her that much as she has a 'first' in maths herself!
