How do I choose a LED that requires very little energy to produces 1 c

How do I choose a LED that requires very little energy to produces 1 candela?
1 Candela is equivalent to 12.6 lumens right, so how could I  find a LED at RadioShack that needs very little energy to produce allot of lumens of light?

Hi Dirksen;

Radio shack has drawers in the back of each store that contain an assortment of parts. You can find LED's there. If not ask one of the guys working in there. You will usually find one that is knowledgeable. Or, ask them to look up the part you need and order it. Sometimes they will do this for just the price of the part, no shipping charges. The part will be delivered to your door in a few days. Welcome to the forum.
