math question help?

if

, P<0 has roots A and B, and
has roots
and
, find P and Q?

please help me, i try to find the roots of the 1st equation and roots of the 2nd equation and then square the roots of 1st equation, after that equate them to roots 2nd equation, solve the simutanous equation to find P and Q. does my working process correct ? but i can not get the answer.


Answer: P =


             Q= 36


please help me to solve this, thanks very much!

Hard to comment on your method without seeing all your working.

Here's what I did:

By comparing the coefficients you can say:

Use equations 2 and 4 to get P etc etc.
