I asked you to see which maxima I should use.

Can you run either one, I think Xmaxima is the right one?

My code? No, I charge 10,000 dollars which amounts to a bag of feathers on the world market.

I am asking for a serious answer. Can you post the code here?

Re: PSLQ and LLL?

Yes, but...

pslq[l_,dig_]:=Module[{a},
     a=IdentityMatrix[Length[l]];
     a=Append[a,10^dig*N[l,dig]];
     a=Transpose[a];
     a=Rationalize[a,10^-dig];
     a=LatticeReduce[a];
     Take[a,All,{1,Length[l]}]
     ];

Re: PSLQ and LLL?

But what? In which language is that?

Re: PSLQ and LLL?

Mathematica has its own language. That is what I am trying to tell you, implementation in Maxima especially since neither of us knows the language well might be very difficult.

Well,you can tell me what each line does and I will try to write it up using tutorials from internet.

That sounds easier than it is. I am looking around for something for Maxima, wait a few minutes.

Ok,I will wait.

Btw,I must mention that you have changed much since the time  you were appointed moderator. I can quote your words with which you called Tee a true friend.

Re: PSLQ and LLL?

I can understand that. Plus,you know her longer so you know how she was before,but I did see in that same post you calling her a light personality,which she now either isn't or tries to negate it. I must show this quote to her:

Yes,I remember that. But maybe,just maybe she can come back. The real her. It maybe is unlikely,but who knows. Maybe what she is saying isn't even true,but she is either way bringing sad thoughts with her.

Re: PSLQ and LLL?

Yes,you are right,sorry for going of topic. I was just touched by the friendship that was once on this forum and is now gone.

Have you been able to translate anything into Maxima code?

Re: PSLQ and LLL?

No, I could find nothing already written for maxima. I am looking at another program that is in a procedural language that you could write in Delphi.

Do you think the compiler Lazaus environment uses? That is currently the only enviroment and compiler I have.

Re: PSLQ and LLL?

No, I was afraid of that. This program written by that dufus who I can not name is a big hodgepodge. A real mess. We will stick with mine and see how far we can get with maxima.

Got some maxima documentation?
