The average

The average of eleven members cricket team reduces by 2 when two players of ages 30 and 32 leave and two new players of equal age join it. Find the age of the newcomers.
It is actually a very simple sum but I just can't figure it out

Hi Agnishom;

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.
If it ain't broke, fix it until it is.
Always satisfy the Prime Directive of getting the right answer above all else.

Re: The average

Hi Agnishom

There are almost always other ways and bobbym is taking the precaution.

Hi Agnishom;

There are always many ways to do a problem.
