Hi lqq889

First, transform the sec(x) into a sin(x), and then solve for sin(x). Post your results

Hi anonimnystefy,
How to transform the sec (x) into sin (x), and how to get rid of the power, can you tell me more detail about this, thanks.

Hi lqq889

Since we are looking for a point on the x-axis, the y coordinate will be 0, so:

Can you solve these now?

Hi;

Just a typo. He meant:

Re: Please help on trigonometry question, thanks

Yes, I have mistaken sec(x) for the reciprocal of sin(x). My bad.
