Hi;

Zeno hated Aristotle and was mocking his perceptions of physics and mathematics by posing three riddles that Aristotle could not solve with his viewpoint of infinity. You see the ancient Greeks had problems believing that a sum of an infinite number of things could add up to a finite number! Believe it or not the same problem still exists today .

In mathematics, you don't understand things. You just get used to them.

I agree with you regarding the satisfaction and importance of actually computing some numbers. I can't tell you how often I see time and money wasted because someone didn't bother to run the numbers.
