Re: Math...

Welcome Madi!  Believe it or not, I went to a very strict catholic elementary school many years ago.  We had to take algebra even earlier than you.  I don't remember anyone saying it was too hard.  In fact all of my friends at school did quite well, even though they were quite young.  My point is that we often make things tougher than they are by just thinking that way.

If you try your best to learn what is presented to you and always ask whenever something isn't clear, I have no doubt that you will do very well.  As for my personal advice.  Don't just do the lessons given to you in mathematics, as this is where a lot of people lose interest.  Go out of your way to apply what you learn to real-life problems.  This will help you retain the information much better than just studying the material.  Hopefully, using the math that you learn in real life will bring you the joy that it has to people like us here at this forum.

Have fun here.  There is someone here who can help you with almost any problem that you encounter in mathematics.

I am at an age where I have forgotten more than I remember, but I still pretend to know it all.
