I think it's some sort of a progression, but I'm not sure

1/2x +1/2 (1/2x + 1/2 (1/2x +1/2 (1/2x + ... = y, then x = ?

Would really appreciate, if you'd help me out on this one guys sad

You could notice

That the boxed region is just y again and say,

x = y

Or you can expand it out,

x = y
